Pet Owner Responsibility
By bringing your pet to Fluffy Tailz, you acknowledge that you are responsible for their overall health and safety. We treat every pet with care and attention, but we cannot be held liable for accidents, injuries, or unexpected events that may occur during grooming.
Financial Responsibility
Any medical or veterinary expenses related to grooming—including those arising from behavior, unknown health conditions, or stress reactions—are the responsibility of the pet owner. Fluffy Tailz is only liable in cases of proven negligence, and coverage is limited to the cost of the grooming service.
Reporting Concerns
Please let us know of any issues within 24 hours of your appointment. Claims made after this period cannot be accepted.
Matted Coat Advisory
Pets with severe matting may experience temporary irritation, redness, or minor bruising. Extra time and care may incur additional fees. Fluffy Tailz is not responsible for any skin reactions, cuts, or clipper irritation in matted areas.
Sanitary Trim Advisory
Some pets may feel mild discomfort following a sanitary trim. Owners should monitor for excessive licking or scratching. Fluffy Tailz is not liable for related issues.
Pricing & Time Policy
Grooming fees may vary if your pet requires extra attention or care. Thank you for your understanding.
Behavioral Charges
Pets that are difficult to manage or show challenging behavior may incur additional fees, reflecting the extra time and care needed.
Cleanup Fees
If a pet has excessive bowel movements, a second bath may be necessary, with extra charges applied. Flea and tick treatments also carry additional fees. A $25 fee applies if a pet urinates or defecates more than one hour after service, requiring a re-bath.
Safety & Pickup Policies
Safety First
We reserve the right to decline service for pets that could pose a safety risk to themselves or staff, and we may refuse service to any customer at our discretion.
Timely Pickup
Pets should be collected within 2 hours after completion of grooming appointment. Late pickups will incur a $30 daycare fee.
Grooming Duration
Sessions typically last 2–4 hours, depending on pet size. If the grooming is rushed at the owner’s request, the session may end early, but full payment is still required.

Satisfaction Guarantee
If you’re unhappy with your pet’s haircut, please contact us within 24 hours to schedule a touch-up. Refunds are not provided.
De-shedding Treatments
These treatments reduce shedding but do not completely stop it. Additional brushing can be arranged for a separate fee.
Missed Pick-Up Appointments
If you miss your pick-up appointment, your pet may be placed in a kennel to ensure safety. Additional day-care boarding fees may apply.
Cancellations
No-shows or same-day cancellations/reschedules will incur a $45 fee, charged to the
card on file. Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance using the provided link.
Safety & Protection
Abandoned Pet Policy
Pets left more than 3 hours past pickup without notice may be considered abandoned. Animal control may be contacted, and the owner will be responsible for boarding and any legal fees.
Photo & Video Consent
By booking, you agree that Fluffy Tailz may take photos or videos of your pet for promotional or educational use. Submit a written request prior to your appointment to opt out.
Vaccination Requirement
Pets must have current vaccinations. Service may be refused without proof, and Fluffy Tailz is not liable for illnesses in unvaccinated pets.
Contagious Conditions
Pets with visible parasites or contagious conditions will not be serviced. Cleaning/disinfection fees of $50–$150 may apply.
Matted Coat Policy****
Severely matted pets may need to be shaved to the skin, potentially revealing existing skin issues. Fluffy Tailz is not responsible for injuries, burns, cuts, or skin irritations in affected matted areas.
Dematting Limit
We perform de-matting for up to 30 minutes. If more time is required, the coat will be shaved for the pet’s safety and comfort.
Grooming Consent Form
All new clients or those affected by policy updates must sign a consent form acknowledging risks and procedures, and watch our informational video.
Style Disclaimer
We will do our best to achieve your desired style, but results may vary based on coat type or temperament. Refunds are not offered for style preferences.
Cat Grooming Notice****
Cat grooming carries multiple safety concerns and is at the owner’s risk. No sedation is provided. Highly stressed or aggressive cats may require the session to pause or be rescheduled. Handling fees may apply.
Weekend Hours
Weekend hours may occasionally change. Please call ahead to confirm availability for walk-in services.
Medication & Sedation Disclosure
If your pet is on medication or sedated, this must be disclosed. Failure to do so releases Fluffy Tailz from all liability.
